Advanced Personnel Management in Noarlunga Centre, SA is seeking an Employment Consultant to support people with disability to become job-ready and to actively connect candidates with local employers.

The role blends people support with sales, relationship building and administration, requiring you to coach job seekers, market candidates, build partnerships, and drive employment outcomes while achieving KPI targets.

Qualifications

  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Valid driver’s licence and insured vehicle.
  • MyGovID (Standard level).
  • National Police Check.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Availability to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with participants to understand employment goals and position them for success.
  • Coach participants to be job-ready, competitive, and interview confident.
  • Assist participants with resumes, interview preparation, job search strategies and access to training.
  • Drive employment outcomes by advocating to employers and securing job placements.
  • Generate new employment opportunities through cold calls and employer visits.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of employers to convert opportunities into placements.
  • Identify and capitalise on hidden job opportunities through proactive business development.
  • Pitch candidates confidently to meet employer needs.
  • Promote the value of inclusive recruitment to influence hiring decisions.
  • Negotiate job trials, work experience placements and wage subsidies.
  • Maintain and grow employer relationships to drive repeat business and vacancies.
  • Achieve KPI targets across placements, engagement, and activity levels.
  • Conduct regular appointments and track participant progress toward outcomes.
  • Manage compliance, documentation, and data entry per program requirements.
  • Track performance against KPIs and celebrate successful placements.

You will:

  • Support participants (many facing barriers such as disability, injury, or long-term unemployment) to become job-ready
  • Actively market candidates to employers and generate job opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with local businesses to create sustainable employment pathways
  • Success in this role comes from your ability to balance people support with proactive employer engagement and outcome delivery.
Key Responsibilities: -

  • Drive employment outcomes by actively advocating on behalf of participants to employers and securing job placements.
  • Generate new employment opportunities through cold calls, employer visits, and face-to-face engagement with employers to generate job opportunities.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of employers to consistently convert opportunities into placements.
  • Identify and capitalise on hidden job opportunities through proactive business development.
  • Pitch candidates confidently, positioning their skills to meet employer needs.
  • Influence hiring decisions by promoting the commercial and social value of inclusive recruitment
  • Negotiate job trials, work experience placements, and wage subsidies to secure employment outcomes.
