Job summary

PCYC Queensland is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator in Innisfail to develop and implement the Braking the Cycle program, supporting learner drivers without supervisor access. The role focuses on youth development, partnerships, and community referrals within a not-for-profit setting.

You will report to the Program Manager and help ensure continuity of BTC by building networks and coordinating with community organisations, volunteers, and staff.

Qualifications

• Diploma of youth work or relevant qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in social and community programs.
• Ability to supervise and develop staff and volunteers.
• Experience working with people of all ages and physical attributes.
• Holder a current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Build effective networks and develop partnerships to sustain the BTC program.
• Support the Youth Club Manager in daily operations.
• Provide referrals for program participants to community organisations.

Braking the Cycle (BTC) is our driver mentor programdesigned to support learner drivers without access to a supervisoror registered vehicle to complete their logbook hours. Your NewRole

Reporting to theProgram Manager, you will be responsible for building effectivenetworks and developing partnerships with community organisationsto ensure the continuity of the BTC program and to improve youthdevelopment. The role also supports the Youth Club Manager in dailyoperational management of the Club and provides appropriatereferrals for program participants to relevant communityorganisations.
