Job summary

EBR Ever Better Recruitment seeks a Program Architect in Sydney to drive end-to-end telecom BSS/OSS initiatives. You will lead delivery across offers, order capture and fulfillment, guiding teams through agile lifecycles and executive briefs.

The role requires deep Java, Spring, Salesforce, and cloud experience, with strong communication skills for client discussions and presentations. On-site in Sydney with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in telecommunications and order management systems within cellular/ILEC/CLEC/IXC contexts.
• At least six years in Agile development across full project lifecycles.
• Six+ years building Java applications with Spring, JDBC, Maven and related tech.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Two+ years developing cloud-based apps on Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end telecom BSS/OSS solution delivery from offers to order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with customers to define requirements and present executive updates.
• Drive agile development in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Ensure successful delivery of back-office customer projects in telecom.
• Continuously learn new skills and technologies as owner of the program.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of three years of telecommunications industryexperience, including online order management systems experience within thefollowing industries: cellular, landline, cable, internet, incumbent localexchange carrier (ILEC), competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC), orinterexchange carrier (IXC)
• 6+ years of experience working in development teams usingAgile development techniques, through full project lifecycles.
• 6+ years of experience building Java applications.
• Experience with the Spring framework, JDBC, Maven andother Java related technologies
• Experience building applications using RelationalDatabases like PostgreSQL and Oracle
• Minimum of 2 years of experience developing cloud basedapplications on top of Salesforce platform
• Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced,iterative development environment; experience with Agile development is astrong plus
• A proven track record of successful delivery of customerprojects with an emphasis on back office systems in the telecommunications area
• Understanding and direct experience working with anend-to-end solution across the telecommunications BSS & OSS stack, from thecreation of offers to quoting to order capture and order fulfillment
• Must be a self-starter, adept at picking up new skillsand technologies, and eager to break new ground
• Must be an excellent communicator; equally comfortablewith craving emails as leading a white-board discussion with customers ordelivering an executive presentation

SKILLS

• Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Designprinciples and patterns

• Must have experience working with the followingtechnologies: RabbitMQ, Apache Camel, Docker/Kubernetes
• Must have in-depth knowledge of key processes inindustry-specific BSS/OSS solutions (e.g. Quote to Order, MACD, PolicyManagement, Order Management and Provisioning)
• A working, technical knowledge of the Salesforce platformand applications
