Job summary

Uniting NSW & ACT is seeking a Program Administrator – Enhanced Services to support clinical and operational teams across UAMHS, YESS and BMMHC. The role covers Chatswood, Penrith, Oatlands and Blacktown with 9am–5pm hours, Monday–Friday, and a permanent full-time arrangement.

You will provide admin support, assist with finance tasks, triage bookings and deliver high-quality customer service across multiple locations to help services run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Three or more years’ administration or medical reception experience.
• Experience in mental health services is preferred.
• Experience processing invoices and general finance tasks.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative and team support, including minutes and correspondence.
• Manage stationery, office supplies, PO processing and routine finance tasks.
• Support triage bookings and in-person/online customer service.
• Monitor shared inboxes and assist the online triage team with inquiries.
• Maintain building facilities notices, signage and general office housekeeping.
• Deliver high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate clearly with all levels and manage competing priorities.

Program Administrator – Enhanced Services

About the Role

The Program Administrator provides high-quality administrative support to the clinical and operational management teams across Uniting’s Enhanced Services portfolio.

You’ll work across UAMHS, YESS and BMMHC, supporting busy mental health services and helping teams run smoothly across multiple locations.

• Programs: UAMHS, YESS and BMMHC Community Mental Health Clinical Services for youth and Adults
• Pay Rate: $37.12 + Super + Salary package benefits
• Location: Chatswood, Penrith, Oatlands and Blacktown
• Employment Type: Permanent Full-time, Monday to Friday, standard business hours 9am to 5pm

Working Across Locations

You’ll work across Chatswood, Penrith, Oatlands and Blacktown, with location days varying based on service demand.

You’ll generally be based at one location each day, with no travel between sites during the day.

Locations will be planned in advance, and where possible, a site closer to home may be considered as your base location, depending on service needs.

About the Enhanced Services Portfolio

Our Enhanced Services portfolio provides multidisciplinary, community-based mental health support across the region:

YESS – early intervention and outreach mental health services delivered across Western Sydney, Northern Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains, supporting children, young people and their families experiencing, or at risk of developing, mental health challenges.

UAMHS – multidisciplinary mental health support for adults, including assessment, care coordination, psychological interventions, psychiatry and peer support.

BMMHC – accessible community-based mental health support for people in Western Sydney, connecting people with appropriate clinical and ongoing community supports.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide general administrative and team support, including preparing meeting minutes and correspondence.
• Manage stationery, office supplies, purchase orders and general finance administration.
• Support triage bookings and provide face-to-face, online and telephone customer service.
• Monitor shared inboxes and assist the online triage team with enquiries and administration.
• Support general office housekeeping and the upkeep of building facilities, including notices and signage.
• High-level of customer service to both internal and external customers
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate and liaise effectively and sensitively at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Manage competing priorities, work to deadlines and use initiative in a busy environment.

About you, your experience and skills

Position requirements /desirables

• Three (3) or more years’ experience in administration / medical reception
• Experience working in mental health service
• Experience processing invoices and general finance
• Above average to Advanced level capability in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other IT applications
• A valid driver’s license
