Job summary

Viva Energy Group is seeking a productivity and labour standards leader to own the development and ongoing optimisation of store productivity across our national retail network. You will define practical labour standards, measure activities, and partner with IT, Digital and project teams to implement tools that improve efficiency.

The role focuses on translating operational needs into scalable standards, analysing workforce data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance store

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in productivity, labour standards, work measurement, operational improvement, workforce optimisation or store operations.
• Experience translating operational activity requirements into practical standards, processes or tools for frontline teams.
• Strong understanding of multi-site retail operations and the practical impact process, system and operating model changes have on stores.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret productivity, workload, labour and operational performance data.
• Experience supporting the design, implementation or optimisation of systems, reporting tools and digital solutions that improve operational execution.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive labour standards, productivity frameworks and work measurement methodologies across the retail network.
• Develop clear and practical labour standards that support efficient, consistent and commercially effective store execution.
• Govern labour assumptions, activity timings and productivity standards as operational requirements evolve.
• Provide work measurement insights that simplify store routines and reduce non-value adding activity.
• Assess the impact of new processes, standards and operating models on store workload and labour requirements.
• Propose practical implementation approaches that are simple and easy for Store Managers to adopt.
• Provide operational productivity input into business cases, project plans and change initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT, Digital and Project teams to design and optimise systems and tools that improve store productivity and reduce administration.
• Deliver productivity insights, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives to improve labour effectiveness and performance.

You will provide:

• Ownership and continuous improvement of labour standards, productivity frameworks and work measurement methodologies across the retail network.
