Job summary

Viva Energy Retail is seeking a Workforce Optimisation Manager to lead planning and productivity across our national retail network. You will drive labour standards, rostering principles and analytics to enable store performance and efficiency.

You will work with Operations, Commercial & Performance, Finance and People & Culture to implement labour optimisation initiatives and governance across multiple brands, reporting to the Head of Commercial & Performance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, workforce management and labour optimisation.
• Advanced analytical capability with experience interpreting workforce, financial and operational performance data.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to influence leaders across a large, multi-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce planning standards and labour management frameworks for a multi-brand retail network.
• Develop and maintain labour planning standards aligned to customer demand and op requirements.
• Oversee rostering standards, scheduling principles and workforce optimisation practices.
• Provide workforce analytics, productivity reporting and performance insights to support decisions.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards and reporting on labour investment and effectiveness.
• Analyse workforce trends and productivity data to identify risks and opportunities.
• Deliver initiatives to improve labour utilisation, productivity, and efficiency.
• Partner with state, area and store managers to improve rostering effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Commercial & Performance, Finance and People & Culture to align workforce strategies.
• Provide governance and subject matter expertise on workforce planning and productivity.
