Job summary

Australian Personnel Solutions is seeking reliable Production Workers for a Clayton South operation. Join a leading manufacturing site offering ongoing work with potential for permanent employment.

Pay is $32.98 per hour plus penalties, with rotating rosters across 7 days (7am–7pm and 7pm–7am). Ideal candidates have manufacturing or warehouse experience or a strong willingness to learn, are safety‑minded, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production or warehouse experience preferred.
• Entry-level candidates with a strong attitude to learning are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and team-focused.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks.
• Availability to work rotating shifts across 7 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment
• Feed materials into production processes
• Assist with the manufacture of cans and plastic products
• Conduct quality checks
• Pack, label and prepare finished products
• Complete production and quality documentation
• Report equipment faults and production issues
• Assist with changeovers and line cleaning
• Maintain a clean and safe production area
• Follow all safety, quality and PPE requirements
