Job summary

Mitolo Family Farms in Adelaide’s northern suburbs is seeking production workers to join a dynamic team. You will be trained in handling and packing potatoes and onions, and you’ll perform physically demanding tasks across long shifts.

The role requires lifting up to 15 kg, standing for about 10 hours, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Applicants should be reliable, team-oriented, and detail-focused, contributing to a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Pack and stack packaged potatoes and onions.

• Ensure products are packed and stacked correctly with minimal damage.
• Undergo pre-employment functional assessment and drug and alcohol testing.

The Opportunity

Our production facilities in Adelaide's northern suburbs pack potatoes and onions supplying major supermarket chains nationally. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring all production worker functions are carried out in an effective, efficient, and timely manner ensuring all safety related rules are followed.

The site locations are:

• Angle Vale Road, Virginia

• Taylors Road, Penfield Gardens

Key Responsibilities

You will be fully trained in product handling and be responsible for the packing and stacking of packaged potatoes and onions. Please note that this is a very physical job, and you will be required to be on your feet for approx. 10 hours per day. This job requires you to lift between up 15kg bags and crates of product, as well as twist, bend, push and pull, toensure our product is packed and stacked correctly and without damage.

Applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment functional assessment, as well as drug and alcohol testing, as part of our recruitment process.
