Job summary

PRW Security Doors and Screens in Smeaton Grange, NSW, is seeking a Production fabricator to manufacture flyscreens and Crimsafe security windows and doors. You will join a fast moving production team in a permanent role.

You must be fluent in English, capable with hand tools, and comfortable working on site from 7am to 3.15pm (Fri 2.30pm) with potential overtime. Safety, punctuality, and teamwork are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Be competent in using hand tools in a production environment.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Punctual, tidy and courteous at all times.
• Able to work unsupervised in a production team.
• Be physically strong and able to stand at work benches and lift as required; commit to safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture flyscreens and Crimsafe security windows and doors.
• Operate hand tools and production equipment safely.
• Participate in overtime when required.

About the Role

Join our team at PRW Smeaton Grange as a Production fabricator, manufacturing Flyscreens & Crimsafe security windows & doors.

What We Offer

Permanent employment (7am - 3.15pm Monday to Thursday and 7am - 2.30pm Friday + overtime) in a fun, fast moving environment.

About You

You must:

• Be competent in using hand tools.
• Be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Be punctual, tidy, courteous & friendly at all times.
• Enjoy working unsupervised in a production team.
• Be physically strong and able to work on your feet around work benches.
• Be committed to complying with and contributing to our safety programs.
• Be available to work some overtime when required.

Experience in security door fabrication is valued though not essential. Being a quick learner is more important, as is your willingness to be coached.
