Job summary

Barossa Fine Foods is seeking a motivated Production Worker for the 2nd shift in Edinburgh North. The role involves slicing and packing products in a controlled environment, with a 38-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, starting at 12:00pm and finishing around 8:36pm.

A 7.5% loading applies to normal hours. Applicants should have a minimum year 10 education, be able to follow written and verbal instructions, and lift up to 30kg safely.

The Opportunity

Barossa Fine Foods is looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our team within our food manufacturing facility in Edinburgh North.

We are seeking a full time Slicer in our High Risk Slicing area on our 2nd Shift. This role is 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday commencing at 12:00pm until approximately 8:36pm. This shift attracts a 7.5% loading to the base rate for normal hours.

Requirements

Who we are looking for

• Have a minimum year 10 high school education.
• Must be effective in, and have the ability to follow, written/verbal communications.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks and work on their feet for extended periods of time.
• Able to occasionally and safely lift up to 30kg.
• Ideally have computing skills in basic Office type software plus an ability to comprehend data presented electronically.
• Willingness to learn and train in food manufacturing industry for career advancement and development.
• Production and Food Manufacturing experience skills an advantage

The main responsibility of this position includes using machines to slice and pack products and prepare for distribution in a high-quality controlled environment.
