Job summary

Solina is recruiting for an on-site production associate in Somerset, NJ to support blending, grinding, weighing, and packaging tasks. You will ensure production continuity, prepare raw materials, operate processing equipment, and maintain sanitation and quality standards in a fast-paced setting.

Compensation is $20 per hour with opportunities to engage across several process lines, reflecting a diverse role in a growing food-ingredients company committed to sustainability and culinary solutions.

Qualifications

• Frequent manual handling and lifting of heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuity of the production process and execute production plans per regulations.
• Prepare raw materials for production as needed.
• Operate machines and perform production tasks across blending, grinding, weighing and packaging lines.
• Set up, sanitize and maintain packaging/processing equipment.
• Weigh ingredients, maintain inventory accuracy, and follow work orders.

Ensure the continuity of the production process and the implementation of production plans, in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures. In addition to preparing raw materials for production, operate machines and conduct the production process at various positions.

Job Overview

Blending

• Frequently lift heavy loads
• Dumping ingredients into tanks by following recipe instructions
• Packing, weighing, sealing, and stacking of bags, boxes, and drums
• Responsible for sanitation of equipment and quality of finished product

Grinding

• Consistently lift heavy loads
• Dump product into tanks to produce target product within parameters
• Set up and sanitize equipment

Weighing

• Frequently lift heavy loads
• Weigh ingredients using assigned work order
• Maintain accurate inventory

Packaging

• Package product in all sizes and configurations and inspect quality
• Follow special instructions in work order and production notes
• Set up, disassemble, and sanitize packaging equipment

The compensation for this position is $20 per hour.
