Job summary

Pure’s is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee all packaging lines, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety and FDA guidelines. You will supervise staff, coordinate work schedules, and drive continuous improvement across shifts.

Responsibilities include hiring recommendations, enforcing policies, and coaching employees to sustain high performance and quality workmanship in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • Experience directing employees and operating and diagnosing equipment.
  • Strong communication with both direct report employees and management.
  • Understanding of FDA guidelines and company policies.
  • Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise packaging lines and coordinate work procedures, rotations and schedules.
  • Evaluate and recommend hires or terminations.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and FDA guidelines are followed.
  • Train and coach operators to maintain efficiency.

  • Train and coach other operators and line employees to maintain high efficiency with minimal down time
  • Coordinates with management to assure production activities are as efficient as possible
  • Ensure all packaging equipment is in operational condition
  • Establish tasks for employees to ensure a clean workplace
  • Document down time and lost efficiency
  • Ensure quality guide lines for products are followed
  • Enforce all FDA and company guidelines
  • Assist with Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain LOTO certification
  • Review and assist with all quality control documents
  • Ensure Food Safety of Production
  • Communicates with all cross functional shift activities from other shifts to operations team on a daily

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Educational Background: N/A

Experience: Must have experience in giving direction to employees and operating and diagnosing equipment

Preferred Skills

Must be able to communicate with both direct report employees and management

Must have understanding of FDA guide lines and company policies. Mathematical skills

Bilingual preferred

Work Environment & Physical demands
  • This position works in a manufacturing facility and requires standing, bending, climbing or walking 80% of the time
  • Must frequently twist, bend, and stoop when performing work tasks.
  • Frequently carry or lift 50 pounds or more.
