Job summary

Programmed GO is seeking a process worker in Jindivick, VIC, to support cheese production. The role involves hands-on, physical tasks across production stages, with day and afternoon shifts available. The position offers training, potential permanency, and competitive pay.

You will perform repetitive manual handling (up to 15 kg), assist with unloading/loading, racking, and sanitising work areas, while maintaining safety and quality standards. Shift flexibility is valued.

• Flexible to work between day and afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manual handling of products and lifting up to 15kg.
• Unload/load tubs of cheese onto machines.
• Rack unmoulded cheese onto trays and stack them.
• Load/unload trays from stack onto conveyor belt.
• Transfer racks of cheese via trolley to different departments.
• Flip racks of cheese as required.
• Clean and sanitise the workstation and maintain a clean space.

Job description

Our client a renown dairy company, is on the look out for a process worker to join their team based in Jindivick and assist in the production of cheese. This role will see you taking a hands on and physical approach in the different production stages of cheese.

They are currently offering day (6AM - 2PM, 8AM - 4PM) and afternoon (12PM – 10PM, 4PM – 12AM) shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Repetitive manual handling of products, lifting up to 15kg
• Unloading/loading tubs of cheese onto machines
• Racking unmoulded cheese onto trays and stacking them
• Loading/unloading trays of cheese from the stack onto a conveyor belt
• Transferring racks of cheese via trolley to different departments
• Flipping racks of cheese
• Cleaning and sanitization of the work station and maintaining a clean work space
  

Our ideal Candidate:

• Comfortable with repetitive manual handling
• Background in food production preferable but not necessary
• Flexible to work between day and afternoon shifts
