Job summary

Century Yuasa Batteries, based in Carole Park, Queensland, is hiring full-time process workers to manufacture automotive batteries for distribution Australia-wide. Successful applicants will operate equipment, learn more machines over time, and receive progression opportunities.

The role includes training, PPE, and safety protocols, with a pre-employment medical and site induction. We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus, an hourly pay rate with increases as skills grow, and allowances where applicable.

• Own transport to Carole Park (no public transport available).
• Willingness to be clean-shaven to wear respirator safely during shift.

The Role

We have exciting full-time opportunities available within our manufacturing facility based in Carole Park. If you enjoy a hands-on position where you get to work with machines, this role could be for you! We are seeking reliable and committed operators where you will be manufacturing automotive batteries to be distributed Australia-wide.

We provide full training in how to operate the equipment. As you successfullylearn additional machinesand skills, yourhourly rate increases.

Working safely is extremely important tous. Some positionsinvolve working aroundlead, so additionalPPE requirementsand regular bloodtesting apply. Fulltraining, clothing and protectiveequipment is provided.

The positions are full-time, permanent working across Day, Afternoon and Night Shift (we will try to accommodate personal preference)

Full week of induction on day shift for first week

About you

Experience in a similar manufacturing / process worker role(desirable)

Reliability and punctuality (availability for assigned shift)

Ability to demonstrate solid mechanical aptitude and good attention to detail

Willingness to be clean-shaven to wear respirator safely during shift (for many roles)

Own car or ability to get yourself to Carole Park reliably each day (no public transport is available)

Forklift license and experience(Not essential, but desirable)

Successful candidates must be available to attend an interview and site visit. An offer of employment will be subject to successful completion of company medical assessment and reference check.
