Job summary

CSL in Melbourne's Broadmeadows site is hiring a Visual Inspection Technician to perform visual checks on empty bottles and semi-finished products within the Visual Inspection department. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, Visual Inspection & Packing, you will help ensure the Master Production Schedule is met and product quality is maintained.

The role operates rotating shifts (6:30am–2:30pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm) with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a tertiary qualification in science/engineering or relevant experience.
• Strong communication and relationship skills.
• Knowledge of cGMP.
• Laboratory or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Blood products or relevant field.
• Ability to maintain attention to detail related to quality of product and processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct activities to meet the Master Production Schedule and forecasted product demand.
• Actively assist troubleshooting of day-to-day issues.
• Identify and support process development and innovation within Visual Inspection area.
• Identify improvements in documentation to ensure compliance.
• Ensure duties are conducted in a GMP compliant manner.
• Ensure all work and product is appropriately status labelled.
• Ensure batch documentation is completed in a timely manner and meets quality requirements and standards.

We are hiring for Visual Inspection Technician in our manufacturing Visual Inspection department at Broadmeadows site. Reporting to Production Supervisor, Visual Inspection & Packing you will be responsible to conduct activities within the Visual Inspection area for visual inspection of empty bottles and semi-finished product.

This role will be a rotating shift-morning(6:30am-2:30pm) and afternoon(2pm-10pm). There could be occasional overtime work so flexibility is required across the team. This is a fixed term (12 Months) opportunity.

The Role:

• Conduct activities to meet the Master Production Schedule and the forecasted product demand
• Actively assist trouble shooting of day to day issues

• Identify improvements in documentation to ensure compliance

To be successful:

• Preferred tertiary qualification in science/engineering or relevant experience (minimum of VCE qualification)
• Communication and relationship skills

• Ability to maintain attention to detail in relation to quality of product and processes
