Job summary

Endeavour Foundation, based at our Maroochydore Site, is seeking a Production Team Leader to enhance opportunities for our employees with a disability while delivering strong production outcomes. The role is a permanent full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, hands-on on the production floor.

You will set up lines, allocate work across small teams, train staff, monitor targets, and step into production when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production environment with a proven ability to coordinate projects and delegate activities to a diverse team.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team.
• A genuine commitment to the purpose and values of the organisation with a natural empathetic nature.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Driver’s License.

• Motivate and mentor a diverse workforce, fostering a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
• Supervise and guide employees that we support to meet Ndis goals and commercial outcomes.
• Promote positive behaviour support and a collaborative team culture.
• Conduct skills training, assessments, and performance reviews in collaboration with Employment Coaches.
• Ensure production meets customer expectations regarding quality, delivery timeframes and business requirements.

Job description

As a Production Team Leader, you will play a vital role in enhancing the opportunities of our employees with a disability, while ensuring commercial outcomes are achieved. With your natural ability to lead with empathy, you will oversee and guide employees that we support, to meet their employment goals, ensuring their work aligns with their skills, aspirations, while delivering exceptional production outcomes.

Based in our Maroochydore Site you will be scheduled to work Mondays to Fridays between 8am to 4pm, permanent full-time position. This is a hands-on, floor-based role coordinating daily pick packing and production. The Production Team Leader sets up lines, allocates work across small teams, trains and supports team members, completes production and various safety paperwork, monitors targets and steps into production when needed. The ideal candidate has hands-on production or packing experience. You’ll need to be calm, organised and comfortable juggling priorities.

Other daily tasks are to:
