Job summary

Inline Nutralabs, part of the Inline group, is an Australian contract manufacturer specialising in powdered foods and nutritional products. We seek a hands-on leader to drive production, blending and warehouse performance and safety, reporting to the Head of Operations.

You will lead daily manufacturing activities, support Supervisors, and help our teams run efficiently while upholding high quality standards. This role combines frontline involvement with strategic process improvements.

Qualifications

Job description

As part of the Inline group, Inline Nutralabs is an Australian contract manufacturer specialising in powdered food, nutritional supplements and functional nutrition products.

We partner with leading Australian and international brands to develop and manufacture high-quality products, with a strong focus on food safety, quality, innovation and customer service.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated, hands-on leader to support our manufacturing operations and drive performance across our production, blending and warehouse teams.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll play a key role in coordinating daily manufacturing activities, supporting and overseeing our Production, Blending and Warehouse Supervisors, and ensuring our operations run safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

This is a practical, people-focused leadership role requiring a strong understanding of food manufacturing, production equipment and operational processes. You will be comfortable jumping on the line or the forklift to demonstrate, or at times just to help get the job done.

You'll work closely with our Safety, Quality, Maintenance, HR and Commercial teams to align operational priorities, resolve challenges and support business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support and co-ordinate Production, Blending and Warehouse Supervisors to deliver daily operational targets.

Coordinate production priorities, labour and resources to meet manufacturing schedules and customer commitments.

Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, food safety, quality and workplace safety requirements.

Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in efficiency, productivity and waste reduction using LEAN manufacturing systems.

Support equipment troubleshooting, maintenance coordination and reduction of operational downtime.

Coach and develop supervisors and operators, building team capability, accountability and a positive workplace culture.

Collaborate with Safety, Quality, HR and Commercial teams to resolve issues and support operational and business objectives.

Maintain effective communication, accurate production records and clear reporting to the Head of Operations.

Identify and escalation continuous improvement opportunities across processes, systems and team performance.

Promote a proactive approach to safety, quality, housekeeping and operational excellence.

Highly regarded:

Experience with automated powder blending, filling and packaging equipment.

Understanding of allergen management, traceability and batch manufacturing.

Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement methodologies.

Mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting experience.
