Job summary

Hewitt Foods in West Gosford is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to supervise daily production activities and support the production team on the floor. You will coordinate workflows, drive KPIs, ensure quality and safety standards, and partner with the Production Supervisor to develop people and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the production line.

This hands-on role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to balance operational priorities

About the Role

Hewitt Foods is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to supervise and support the day-to-day activities of our production team in West Gosford. In this frontline leadership role, you will coordinate workflow, drive production performance,maintainquality standards, and champion a strong safety culture. Working closely with the Production Supervisor, you will lead by example, support team development, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support production employees across designated production areas.
• Coordinate daily workflows and labour allocation to achieve production schedules and KPIs.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices, SOP compliance, and housekeeping standards.
• Monitor product quality, minimise waste, andidentifyopportunities for operational improvement.
• Complete production documentation and communicate operational outcomes and risks to management.

You are a confident and hands-on leader with experience working in a production, manufacturing, or food processing environment. You thrive in fast-paced operations, enjoy developing people, and are passionate about achieving team results. Withstrong communicationand problem-solving skills, you can balance operational priorities whilemaintaininghigh standardsof safety, quality, and performance.
