Based in the North Brisbane region, this role will partner closely with site leadership teams to ensure the highest standards of workplace safety, compliance and risk management are embedded throughout our manufacturing facilities.
This is a key leadership role where your influence will directly contribute to the safety, wellbeing and performance of our people in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As Safety Manager, you will lead the delivery of practical, high-impact safety strategies across our Queensland food manufacturing operations. Working closely with site leadership, supervisors and frontline teams, you will champion a proactive safety culture, ensure compliance with WHS requirements, and drive continuous improvement through effective systems, coaching and leadership.
This is a visible and hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in operational environments and can balance compliance, risk management and operational realities to achieve safer outcomes.
You are an experienced safety professional with a strong background in food manufacturing, food production or other high-risk industrial environments. You are comfortable spending time on the floor, engaging with frontline teams and influencing leaders to create meaningful and lasting safety improvements.
You bring a practical approach to safety, strong legislative knowledge and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business. Most importantly, you are passionate about creating workplaces where people go home safe every day.
