Job summary

Hewitt Foods in West Gosford is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to supervise daily production activities and support the production team on the floor. You will coordinate workflows, drive KPIs, ensure quality and safety standards, and partner with the Production Supervisor to develop people and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the production line.

This hands-on role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to balance operational priorities

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a production, manufacturing, or food processing environment.
• Proven ability to meet production targets and KPIs.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Basic computer literacy and production reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support production employees across designated areas.
• Coordinate daily workflows and labour allocation to meet schedules.
• Promote safe work practices and SOP compliance.
• Monitor product quality and minimise waste.
• Complete production documentation and report outcomes.
