Job summary

Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ – Canterbury NSW is seeking a Production Team Leader/Supervisor for a factory in Wigram. You will lead a small team of 2-3 on the factory floor, hands-on with machinery, and complete necessary reporting.

The role runs 06:00AM – 02:30PM, Monday to Friday, with training provided. Health, safety, and hygiene are critical in food packaging and PPE manufacturing, and pre-employment drug testing is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a factory environment.
• Experience in ISO-certified factories is beneficial.
• Supervisory or team-leader experience required.
• Able to work alone and in a team with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of 2–3 on the factory floor and operate machinery with training.
• Complete reporting and paperwork related to production.
• Maintain health, safety and hygiene standards in a food packaging/PPE setting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and teamwork in a multicultural environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a new staff member to join our factory based in Wigram. We are looking for a Production Team Leader/Supervisor to join our small-knit team. You will be leading a small team of 2-3 people on the factory floor. Please note that this role is still hands-on and you will be working in the factory environment operating machinery to manufacture our products. You will be operating a variety of machinery (which you will receive full training on) as well as completing necessary reporting and paperwork. The hours for this role are 06:00AM – 02:30PM Monday – Friday. Please note that as we are manufacturing food packaging and PPE, the importance of Health and Safety and Hygiene is critical in this role.

Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a factory-based environment is preferred
• Direct experience with working in an ISO certified factory is beneficial
• Supervisory/team leader experience is required
• Possess a keen and positive attitude
• Must be able to work alone and in a team
• Thorough with good attention to detail
• Great computer skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
• Good communication and able to work in a multicultural team environment
• Keen attitude to learn and to be a team player
• Physically fit as this is a manual role
• Willingness to be able to lend a hand where required and understand that no two days may be the same
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
