Job summary

Frontline Construction ACT is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a Windows, screens and doors manufacturing line. You will lead the production team, ensure efficiency, quality and safety while meeting targets.

Windows and doors manufacturing experience is preferred, but strong manufacturing supervision may qualify. This is a full-time 38-hour-per-week role with overtime when required, offering a hands-on leadership opportunity in a growing operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production supervision or manufacturing leadership role.
• Windows and doors manufacturing experience highly desirable.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Unrestricted driver's licence – mandatory.
• White Card, First Aid and Dogging Licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production, ensuring quality and efficiency targets are met.
• Lead a Lean production line and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage labour requirements and production workflows.
• Identify and resolve production issues, including stock and staffing shortages.
• Manage team performance, training and development.
• Conduct timecard audits and maintain staff performance records.
• Ensure tools, machinery and workstations are safe and properly maintained.
• Liaise with warehouse, logistics, purchasing and maintenance teams.
• Manage stocktakes and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
• Monitor production, quality and maintenance requirements. Oversee end-of-day shutdown and lock-up procedures.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new staff.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a windows, screens and doors manufacturing production line.

You will lead the production team, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety while meeting production targets and deadlines.

Windows and doors manufacturing experience is preferred, however, candidates with strong manufacturing supervision experience will also be considered.

This is a full-time 38-hour-per-week position, with overtime required when necessary.
