Job summary

Marble Group is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to oversee day-to-day window and door production on the Gold Coast. You will work closely with the GM and supervisors to keep jobs moving from scheduling through to completion.

Ideal candidates have experience in manufacturing or production environments, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage a small team on the workshop floor. This role suits someone who enjoys practical problem solving and improving processes.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or coordinating a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience working within windows, doors, glazing, shopfitting, joinery or related manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational and scheduling skills.
• Good understanding of production processes and workflows.
• Ability to measure and interpret plans/job requirements.
• A practical approach to problem solving.
• Confidence managing and coordinating a small team.
• The ability to juggle multiple jobs and priorities at once.

Production Manager

About the Company

A small, well-established glazing business is looking for a hands-on Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of their window and door production.

They're open to experienced Production Managers as well as someone with a strong trade background who is ready to step off the tools and take the next step into management.

The Role

Working closely with the GM and supervisors, you'll be responsible for keeping production running smoothly from scheduling through to completion.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Scheduling production and coordinating workloads across the team
• Measuring and checking jobs to ensure they are ready for production
• Overseeing the production team and making sure jobs are progressing to schedule
• Coordinating priorities and allocating work across the workshop
• Troubleshooting production issues and finding practical solutions
• Working closely with the GM and supervisors to keep jobs moving
• Helping improve processes and efficiency across the production floor
• Getting involved across different areas of the business as required

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys being on the workshop floor, working with the team and making sure things actually get done.

About You

We're looking for someone with experience managing or coordinating a manufacturing or production environment.

• Previous experience in a Production Manager, Production Supervisor or similar role
• Experience working within windows, doors, glazing, shopfitting, joinery or a related manufacturing environment
