Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor for a 12-month contract in Sydney. The role leads daily manufacturing operations, reports to the Production Manager, and supports Team Leaders and operators to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost and people performance targets.

Responsibilities include safety walks, coaching, coordinating investigations, and driving continuous improvement across multiple lines.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in a manufacturing supervisory role or similar leadership position.
• Proven ability to plan, organize, and drive improvements.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities across multiple lines to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Provide leadership and coaching to Team Leaders and operators.
• Drive safety walks, hazard identification and a proactive safety culture.
• Manage quality performance, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Analyse production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate investigations into recurring defects and production issues.
• Support labor planning, payroll processes and workforce development.
