Job summary

Smoke Control Australia is seeking an enthusiastic professional to coordinate daily production activities, manage resources and ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

You will plan schedules, support and lead production staff, monitor costs and material usage, ensure WHS compliance, uphold Australian Standards, and identify opportunities to improve processes and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a production, manufacturing or similar operational role.
• Understanding of production planning, manufacturing processes and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer delivery deadlines.
• Support and lead production staff to achieve operational targets.
• Monitor production costs, labour utilisation and material usage.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
• Maintain product quality and compliance with relevant Australian Standards and accreditation requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, productivity and efficiency.
