Nu Mega Ingredients in Melbourne is seeking a capable Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing activities, ensuring GMP and food safety standards are met while driving production targets and continuous improvement across the plant. You will coordinate resources, monitor yields and progress, and maintain traceability through batch documentation.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will develop staff, schedule shifts, prepare operational reports and ensure safe working practices.

Formación

• Three years’ experience in a manufacturing supervisory role.
• Experience leading and motivating production staff.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety and quality systems.
• Effective planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication and reporting capabilities.

About the role

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead production activities in accordance with food safety and Good Manufacturing Practice requirements as well as achieving production targets, coordinating resources and continually improving plant performance.

What you’ll do

The successful applicant must also be able to provide support outside regular hours and on weekends when operationally required.

What you bring

• At least three years’ experience in a manufacturing supervisory role.
• Demonstrated experience leading and motivating production staff.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety and quality systems.
• Effective planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication and reporting capabilities.
• A relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous.
