Snowy River Caravans is seeking a Production Manager to lead the production team, drive efficiency, maintain quality, and foster continuous improvement in manufacturing. You will oversee schedules, workflow, and staff development while prioritising safety, quality, and efficiency.

Collaborating with senior management and cross-functional teams, you will implement best practices, drive process improvements, and support development of both experienced and new production staff.

Qualifications

• Previous people management experience including conflict resolution.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Safety conscientious, ALWAYS.
• Experience in the Caravan industry is highly desirable.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills, no job is too big.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
• Loves to work in a team.
• Organising, prioritising, and meeting deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Actively drive 5S production efficiency and productivity to achieve KPI targets.
• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring output meets quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Implement and monitor production schedules to maximise resource utilisation.
• Identify and resolve production blockages, inefficiencies, and technical challenges.
• Optimise workflow processes to reduce downtime and increase output.
• Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of production equipment to minimise disruptions.
• Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching to production staff, creating a high-performance culture.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance skills and efficiency across the production team.
• Safety, Compliance & Risk Management: adhere to OHS regulations and company policies.
• Contribute to improving safety and environmental culture through leadership and safety initiatives.
• Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment failure and safety risks.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Collaborate with planning, design, warranty, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production processes and product quality.
• Provide regular production reports and updates to key stakeholders with data-driven decisions.
