Job summary

Inter Industrial is seeking a Production Operator with forklift experience for a chemical manufacturing site in Preston, Melbourne. This hands-on role requires batching, mixing and forklift operation, with strict adherence to safety and batch-record procedures.

Shifts start at 8:00am or 10:00am, Monday–Friday, with starting pay rate of AUD $37+ per hour. Applicants must have full working rights in Australia and a current LF forklift license.

• Physically fit with ability to perform manual handling.

Our client is seeking reliable and safety Production Worker to join the manufacturing team based in Preston. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone with experience in production or manufacturing who is comfortable working with chemicals

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Batch preparation, mixing and blending of products

• Forklift operation

• Updating batch records and documentation

• Operating and monitoring mixing and batching equipment

• Handling and measuring chemicals in line with safety procedures

• General cleaning and housekeeping of production and mixing areas

• Completing basic quality checks and production documentation

About you:

• Previous experience in batching, mixing, or machine operator in a manufacturing environment

• Comfortable working with chemicals and following strict safety guideline

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow formulas and instructions

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team

• Current (LF) Forklift license – Experience operating High reach is desirable
  Must have own reliable car and license

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English, with good written and verbal communication skills.
