Job summary

Obela, a part of PepsiCo ANZ, is hiring a Production Operator - Packaging in Cavan, SA. You will operate packaging machinery and support maintenance while upholding quality and safety standards in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Join a diverse, inclusive team with opportunities for rotation. Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm–10:00pm. Prior packaging/fmcg experience and strong communication are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in FMCG or Food Manufacturing Industry (desirable).
• Proven experience in operation, clean, change over and conducting preventative/general maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and mechanical comprehension.
• Forklift licence (not essential but preferred).
• Walkie Stacker operation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery/equipment or processes.
• Identify hazards and work with Team Leader to rectify.
• Comply with Quality, GMP, Hygiene and Food Safety policies, standards and procedures.
• Complete all relevant production, quality and safety related paperwork.
• Perform preventative and general maintenance on food production equipment.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and participate in job rotation practices.

• Location: Cavan (SA)


• Position: Full Time Permanent


• Shift Hours: Monday to Friday 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery/equipment or processes
