Job summary

Saputo Dairy Australia is seeking a Production Operator to safely run and monitor our Warrnambool area processes, spanning manufacturing to packaging and dispatch. You’ll learn a unique process in a supportive team, with comprehensive training and career development opportunities.

The role requires a safety-first mindset, strong teamwork, and the ability to adapt to rotating day and night shifts, including weekends. A forklift licence and prior manufacturing exposure are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production or process operations.
• Food manufacturing experience is highly regarded.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment and processes.
• Monitor plant operations through SCADA/control room systems.
• Conduct product sampling and quality testing; perform pH and other checks.
• Complete production records and operational documentation.
• Support packaging, dispatch and logistics activities; operate forklifts.
• Perform cleaning and hygiene activities; identify and troubleshoot issues; contribute to safety improvements.
