Job summary

Supagas Beenleigh is seeking a Production Operator for a full-time, permanent day shift in our manufacturing facility. You will be involved in filling, sorting, painting, labelling and testing gas cylinders, with a strong focus on quality control and safety.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand standards and procedures.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Pre-employment medical examination with drug and alcohol screening.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

About The Role

We currently have a Vacancy for a full-time, permanent day shift opportunity for a Production Operator to join our team in our manufacturing facilities, located in our Beenleigh branch.

Main duties of the roles include:

• Filling of Industrial and Hospitality gas cylinders.
• Sorting, painting, labelling, and stencilling of gas cylinders.
• Testing and maintenance of LPG and industrial gas cylinders.
• Quality control and analysis of product.
• Ensure compliance with standards and procedures.

Key Skills and Experience:

• A current Forklift Licence or a willingness to obtain.
• A strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand standards and procedures.
• A high level of attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• The successful candidate will be required to attend a pre-employment medical examination with drug and alcohol screening.
• Be able to work overtime when and as required.
