Job summary

TrendPac is hiring Production Operators across Plastics and Filling operations on a full-time permanent basis in Berkeley Vale, NSW. You will run your allocated work area safely and to standard, ensuring quality and adhering to GMP and housekeeping standards.

We are targeting Operator Level 3 personnel with strong mechanical aptitude, a quality-first mindset and ownership of their work area to drive line performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Solid production/manufacturing experience, preferably in FMCG or plastics/filling environments.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform minor adjustments and first-line fixes.
  • Commitment to safety, quality and working collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate machinery and run assigned plastics or filling zones to standard.
  • Carry out quality checks, GMP housekeeping and process discipline.
  • Complete operating checks and escalate abnormalities clearly.
  • Perform baseline adjustments, minor fixes and first-line recovery.
  • Support changeovers and learn to sign off adjustments.
  • Record downtime and production data; contribute to problem solving.

These are hands-on, full-time roles for people who take pride in running a line well - safely, to standard, and with the mechanicalknow-howto keep it moving.

We’re specifically looking forOperator Level 3talent: production professionals with strong mechanical aptitude, a quality-first mindset, and the right attitude to own their work area and help the team perform.

About the Roles

You’llsafely run yourallocatedwork area to standard – operating machinery,maintainingproduct quality,completingchecks accurately andrespondingearly to abnormalities. As a Level 3 Operatoryou’llgo beyond standard running: making approved baseline adjustments, performing repeatable minor fixes, and carrying out first-line recovery to get the line back to standard.

WhatYou’ll Be Doing
  • Safelyoperatemachinery and run yourallocatedPlastics or Filling work zone to standard across a full shift.
  • Carry out quality-at-source checks, GMP/housekeepingand process discipline – spotting quality issues before they become problems.
  • Complete standard operating checks and ***escalate abnormalities early and clearly.****
  • Perform approved baseline adjustments, repeatable minor fixes, first-line recovery and resets to standard settings (Level 3 tasks).
  • Support changeovers and work alongside Line Setters, learning andsigning offadjustments to build capability.
  • Record downtime,wasteand production data accurately and contribute to A4 / 5-Why problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Look out for your mates – report hazards and incidents promptly and helpmaintaina strong safety culture.
WhatYou’llBring
  • Solid production / manufacturing experience – ideally FMCG, and in a Plastics (injection / blowmoulding, bottles) or Filling / Liquids environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude – confident making minor adjustments and first-line fixes to keep the line running.
  • The right attitude – reliable, safety-focused, quality-driven and a genuine team player who takes ownership.
  • Sound numeracy andliteracy, andcomfort with basic computer/data entry (downtime,wasteand production records).
  • Working knowledge of GMP, quality "right first time" principles and safe work practices; exposure to LEAN / continuous improvement is a plus.
  • Willingness and availability to commit to a rotating or fixed shift – Day, Afternoon or Night.
The Shifts

Roles are available across all shifts (approx.38 hoursper week). Tell us your preference when you apply:

  • Day Shift - 7:36am to 3:22pm
  • Afternoon (Arvo) Shift 1 - 3:22pm to 11:08pm
  • Afternoon (Arvo) Shift 2 - 4:04pm to 11:50pm
  • Night Shift - 11:50pm to 7:36am
