Job summary

BiomeCentric on the Gold Coast is seeking 2-3 Production Operators to run lines from start to finish in a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment. You don’t need cosmetics experience—members from food, beverage, pharma, or any FMCG backgrounds who can adapt to frequent line changes will thrive.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience around machines or production lines - any industry.
• Willingness to figure out why a machine stopped instead of waiting for someone else.
• Strong attention to detail; a drift in fill weight or seal affects customers.
• Ability to fill out paperwork as you go.
• Reliable, punctual and a genuine team player.
• Machine operation, changeovers, compounding, batching, GMP, HACCP, ISO or forklift licence count, but are not essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and change over filling and packing machines - sachet, tube, liquid, powder, capsule, tablet, balm, bar and sheet mask
• Run form-fill-seal lines, labelling and batch coding equipment
• Carry out in-process checks - fill weights, seal quality
• Complete batch documentation and line clearance to GMP standard
• Support compounding and batching as the schedule requires
• Help commission and run new lines as they come online
• Troubleshoot basic faults and know when to escape

We're a microbiome-focused business making skincare, cosmetic and ingestible products for brands across the health and beauty market. With new production lines going in, we're expanding our team and looking for 2-3 Production Operators to grow with us.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment. You'll run a line from start to finish rather than working one station on it, and because we're a contract manufacturer the product changes constantly - frequent changeovers, lots of formats, and no standing on the same machine doing the same thing all day.

You don't need cosmetics experience. If you've run machines in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, supplement or any FMCG plant, your skills carry straight across. And if you've worked on a production line and you're ready to step up to running the machines, we'll train you.

Key Responsibilities
