Job summary

Hanwha Defence Australia is seeking Production Operators to join our Geelong-based team. You will assemble advanced military vehicles, work with mechanical and electrical components, and contribute to safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives in a modern LEAN production environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assemble advanced military vehicles in line with production schedules and work instructions

• Work with mechanical and electrical components using hand tools and equipment

• Contribute to quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives

• Support LEAN manufacturing practices in a modern production environment

• Help deliver critical capability to Australia's defence sector

What We're Looking For

• Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly or a trade environment (desirable, not essential)

• Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude

• Confidence using hand tools

• Strong focus on safety and quality

• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong work ethic

• Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and contributes to a positive workplace culture

• Strong communication skills and respect for people from diverse backgrounds

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office

To be considered, you must:

• Be an Australian Citizen

• Be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance

• Complete a National Police Check
