Job summary

You will review artwork, prepare files for print production, manage colour workflows, and ensure accuracy from design to final output. Leadership and sharp attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and strong organisational planning in a fast-paced printing environment.

Responsibilities

• Review artwork files for errors and print readiness.
• Format documents for print production with correct bleeds and crop marks.
• Manage colour correction and colour management processes.
• Set up bleeds, crop marks, and print specifications.
• Proofread and quality check output materials.
• Prepare PDFs for commercial printers and workflows.
• Perform image retouching and resolution checks.
• Assist with layout adjustments and final artwork approvals.
• Maintain image libraries and asset management.
• Coordinate with designers, clients and suppliers on workflows.

A new opportunity for an experienced prepress operator is now available. You will need a high level of skills in Adobe Creative Suite to be successful. This role will work closely with all areas of the business and is a key contact for clients.

Duties will include:

• Reviewing and checking artwork files for errors
• Formatting documents ready for print production
• Colour management and colour correction
• Setting up bleeds, crop marks, and print specifications
• Proofreading and quality checking
• Preparing PDFs for commercial printers
• Image retouching and resolution checks
• Layout adjustments and final artwork approval
• Managing image libraries
• Implementing Automated Workflows
• Liaising with designers, clients, and printing suppliers

The successful candidate will have:

• Experienced in the use of the Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite of Products
• Ability to learn and use other industry related software
• Ability to read and interpret complex Engineering designs and drawings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional planning and organising skills
• Excellent attention to detail
