Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking a Batcher in Charge to supervise the daily operation of concrete batching plants across the Sunshine Coast, including Maroochydore, Noosa and Caloundra. You will load materials, manage production activities and ensure smooth plant operation with provided on-the-job training.

Candidates should have loader experience, a valid licence, be able to work in a team and pass a pre-employment medical and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Loader operation experience (12+ months)
• Teamwork and ability to follow directions
• Able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screening

About the Client

Our client is Australia's largest building and construction materials company. They supply raw materials like sand and stone, manufacture concrete and asphalt, and recycle old construction waste into new building products. Their materials are used to build roads, bridges, tunnels, and houses.

Shift Structure

Monday to Friday – 6:30am to 2:30pm with some Saturdays required

What You Will Be Doing

With Concrete Plants in Maroochydore, Noosa and Caloundra, the successful candidates will be working as a Batcher in Charge, responsible for overseeing the daily operation of a concrete batching plant. Your main duties are as follow

• Operating Loaders for stockpiling and loading machinery
• Loading materials into plant machinery for mixing
• Administrative tasks – data entry into computers for mixing machines
• Managing the day to day production activities of the concrete plants

What we need from you:

• Drivers Licence (MR highly desired) and Transport
• Loader operating experience (12+ months)
• Able to work within the team and follow directions
• Be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screening
