Job summary

Hewitt Foods is seeking a Production Line Operator to monitor and operate our packaging machinery in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, maintaining HACCP and GMP records while supporting daily production targets.

The role requires reliable, safety-conscious individuals with a focus on detail and teamwork, comfortable in a chilled environment, and aligned with food safety standards. Training will be provided to maintain high product quality.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating experience within food manufacturing, meat processing or a similar production environment.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of HACCP, GMP and food safety requirements.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work safely in a chilled environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and adjust production machinery to meet manufacturing requirements.
• Conduct start up checks, troubleshoot minor faults and minimise production downtime.
• Complete product quality inspections and maintain accurate HACCP and GMP records.

As a Production Line Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production and packaging machinery.
