Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while developing Team Leaders and operators. The role reports to the Production Manager and emphasises a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.

You will drive production efficiency across multiple lines, coordinate investigations, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to improve overall performance.

• Proven ability to coach and develop Team Leaders and operators.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities across multiple lines to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Provide leadership and coaching to Team Leaders and operators.
• Conduct safety walks, identify hazards, and promote a safety culture.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and operational discipline.
• Own quality performance and drive corrective actions and improvements.
• Analyze production, quality, and OEE data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Coordinate investigations into defects and incidents, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage disruptions and recovery plans to minimise impact.
• Support labour planning, payroll processes, and workforce development.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Foster a high-performance culture through coaching and engagement.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain.
