Job summary

Qualifications

Since 2007, PB Agri has established itself as a premium supplier of a wide range of horse feed, supplements and loose licks. About the role/s

We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Labourers to join our team! The Labourer position is a hands-on role supporting daily production activities and helping maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our warehouses, seed warehouse, grading plant, mill and surrounding site.

Your duties may include assisting with the setup, operation and cleaning of plant, completing production records, cleaning equipment and machinery, managing grain spillages, and filling and branding bags of product up to 25kgs. You will also assist team members across other areas of the business as required.

The successful candidates will be practical team players who can follow established procedures, identify workplace risks and complete physically demanding tasks safely. Experience in grain handling, production or warehousing would be advantageous.

You will be working in a team environment where communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills are a must.

Other requirements of this role include:

• Reliable transport and means of getting to and from work;
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain);
• Proven ability to abide by safe work practices;
• Proven ability to follow set work procedures;
• Demonstrated understanding and experience with mill or grading plant operations and bagging/ packing (desired, however training and support will be provided to build competency if you are inexperienced);
• Flexibility to work various shift patterns as required (day, afternoon and night shift); and
• Reliability and strong work ethic.
