Job summary

AWX is recruiting for a stable, long-term precast concrete labour role in Brisbane. You will work in a busy indoor factory, aligning moulds, pouring and finishing concrete, stripping products and performing general labour tasks.

Requirements include experience in similar environments (preferred), a forklift licence (highly regarded), a current driver’s licence and reliable transport, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Mon-Fri full-time hours with overtime potential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble moulds for production.
• Pour and finish concrete products.
• Strip and demould precast products.
• Clean and maintain moulds and work areas.
• General factory and production labouring duties.
• Manual handling and repetitive tasks.
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and assembling moulds for production
• Pouring and finishing concrete products
• Stripping and demoulding precast products
• Cleaning and maintaining moulds and work areas
• General factory and production labouring duties
• Manual handling and repetitive physical tasks
• Adhering to all workplace health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in precast concrete, manufacturing, production, construction or a similar labour-intensive environment (preferred)
• Forklift Licence (highly regarded)
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Experience operating a forklift within a manufacturing or production environment (preferred)
• Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive manual labour tasks
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• Reliable, punctual and able to maintain excellent attendance
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
