Job summary

Fuse Recruitment is assisting a national leader in timber and cement building products, located at Carole Park. The role involves hands-on labour as a hand sorter and production all-rounder in a busy manufacturing setting, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You will operate forklifts (including counter balance and 8 Tonne), sort timber sheets, count stock, and prepare orders for dispatch. This is a day shift, with a loud, dusty environment and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid LF Forklift License is required.
• Industrial machinery operating experience in production/manufacturing.
• Experience with oversized pallets and timber/wood products preferred.
• Counter Balance and/or 8 Tonne forklift experience essential.
• Able to lift up to 20 kg and perform stock checks.

Responsibilities

• Sort through sheets of timber and load onto cutting machinery.
• Count and palletise stock; inspect quality and defects.
• Prepare orders for shipping; handle oversized products up to 6 metres long.
• Operate forklifts and loading equipment safely per procedures.
• Maintain safe, clean and efficient production flow.
