Cater Care is seeking a passionate Production Chef to join our NSW team on a casual basis. You will prepare and produce nutritious, texture-modified meals in a busy kitchen, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial kitchen experience.
• A relevant Chef/Cookery qualification.
• Practical knowledge and experience with Texture Modified Food.
• An understanding of special dietary requirements.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good organisation and time-management skills.
• A reliable, positive and professional approach.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Experience in Aged Care, healthcare or contract catering will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals in accordance with menus, recipes and dietary requirements.
• Preparing and producing Texture Modified Meals to the required standards.
• Ensuring consistency in texture, portion size, quality and presentation.
• Following food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures.
• Working efficiently within a busy production kitchen.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.
• Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure meals are prepared and delivered on time.
• Taking pride in the quality and presentation of every meal you prepare.
