Job summary

Driver Hire Australia is seeking experienced Production workers to join their well-established, family-run team near Ipswich. This hands-on role focuses on assembling aluminium louvre and cladding systems, using power tools and mitre saws, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

We offer day or afternoon shifts on weekdays, competitive pay between $34.60 and $42 per hour, and the potential for permanent placement. Reliable candidates who take pride in workmanship are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production equipment including cut-off saws, band saws, and drilling machines.
• Experience assembling components using various handheld power tools.
• Experience with Aluminium fabrication.
• Able to complete manual handling and general labouring duties.
• Reliable and able attend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aluminium louvre and cladding systems in accordance with work orders, drawings, and specifications.
• Safely use Double headed Mitre Saw to cut aluminium to design specifications.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
• Measure, cut, align, and fasten components to meet product requirements.
• Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality expectations.
• Conduct visual and dimensional checks on assembled components.
• Identify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conforming materials and report them promptly.
• Manual handling and general labouring duties.

We are currently seeking experienced Production workers to join a well-established, family-run business located near Ipswich. We currently have 2 Day shift roles available for Production workers and a Afternoon role available for a Production worker with experience using Double Headed Mitre Saws/Band Saws.

About the Roles

This is a hands-on role suited to reliable and practical workers who enjoy working in a production environment.

Details:

• Day shift | Monday to Friday
• 7:00am starts

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble aluminium louvre and cladding systems in accordance with work orders, drawings, and specifications
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently
• Measure, cut, align, and fasten components to meet product requirements
• Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality expectations
• Conduct visual and dimensional checks on assembled components
• Identify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conforming materials and report them promptly
• Manual handling and general labouring duties

• 3.00pm starts
