Sidekicker is seeking a Storeworker – Production and Administration Assistant in Rocklea. The role involves general storekeeping in the production area, materials handling, and light administration.

You will work a 4.30am start, Monday to Friday with additional Saturdays as required, on a casual ongoing basis at $33.05 per hour plus super. You’ll need PPE such as safety footwear and a hi-visibility vest, and should be reliable with good attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in a storeroom or production environment is advantageous.
• Proficient in basic to intermediate computer tasks for admin work.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate stock records.

Our client has been trading in wholesale fruit and vegetables at the local market in Rocklea since it started operations in 1921. Since then, our business has evolved and expanded to include importing produce, cold storage, quality control, ripening, pre-packing, order assembly and value-adding.

We are looking for a Storeworker – Production and Administration Assistant to join their team

The Details

Shift: Monday to Friday, Saturdays when required.
Hours: 4.30am start for a 7-9 hour shift
Pay Rate: $33.05 per hour + Super
Start Date: ASAP
Role Type: Ongoing casual

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform general storekeeping duties within the production area
• Pick, prepare and distribute materials and supplies to support daily production requirements.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised storeroom and production workspace.
• Assist with packing, labelling, moving and handling stock and materials as required.
• Complete some administrative duties, including data entry, updating stock records and maintaining production documentation.
• Check quantities and labels for accuracy and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Use basic to intermediate computer skills to complete routine recording and administrative tasks.
• Follow established work procedures, workplace health and safety requirements, and instructions from supervisors.
• Work effectively both independently under general supervision and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate reliability, accuracy, attention to detail and a willingness to undertake a variety of practical duties.
• Work primarily within the production and storage areas, involving regular standing, walking, lifting and handling of stock and materials, alongside some computer and administrative tasks.
