Job summary

Sidekicker in Brisbane is seeking a Counterbalance forklift operator for an all-rounder role including manual labour and pick packing. You will load and unload goods, verify stock quality, rotate stock and conduct counts while coordinating with the sales team.

Inductions are provided on-site for successful candidates, with a screening call or meet-and-greet staged with the client prior to start. Saturday shifts may be on rotation.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift operator required with ability to perform manual labour/pick packing.
• Ability to pass screening call and attend client meet-and-greet on-site.
• On-site inductions will be provided for successful candidates.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading using a Counterbalance forklift.
• Quality checking stock during order picking.

Counterbalance Forklift Operator for an all rounder role!

Our client has been trading in wholesale fruit and vegetables at the Brisbane Produce Market since it started operations in 1921. Since then, our business has evolved and expanded to include importing produce, cold storage, quality control, ripening, pre-packing, order assembly and value-adding. We pride ourselves on our customised third-party logistics business.

We are looking for a Counterbalance forklift operator to join the team.The role will also include manual labour/ Pick packing

SHIFT

Start time between 4:00 am and 5:30 am starts Mon to Fri

Available Saturdays (on rotation)

7-9 hour shift

Rate : $33.55 per hour + Super ( L3 on the Horticulture Award)

Main Duties - the job will entail, but is not limited to:

• Loading and Unloading Counterbalance forklift duties
• Quality checking stock when picking orders
• Stock rotation
• Stock counts
• Working as a team with fellow staff
• Communicating with Sales staff

Uniform:

• Hi Vis
• Steel capped shoes

Suitable candidates will have a screening call and also need to be able to attend a meet and greet with the client

Inductions will be on site for successful candidates on their first shift
