Job summary

Anduril Industries in Sydney, Australia seeks a Product Quality Engineer with a focus on testing to join our Quality organisation. You will develop and execute processes delivering high quality, reliable products, supporting Manufacturing Test, Production and Engineering teams.

The role requires knowledge of manufacturing, product development, metrology, and continuous improvement, with hands-on accountability for results and the ability to work across internal teams, customers, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field.
• Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality in aerospace/defense/maritime or similar hardware.
• Experience driving product quality and performance requirements to test and measurement system development and optimization.
• Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements such as MSA and GD&T.
• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical test processes.
• Ownership mindset to drive projects end-to-end.
• Ability to obtain NV2 Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine processes for incoming, in-process, and end-of-line inspection.
• Support factory acceptance testing through procedures and troubleshooting.
• Develop manufacturing and test work instructions.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for productivity and quality gains.
• Develop test methods to validate mechanical and electrical systems.
• Assist audits on processes and procedures.
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent failures.
