A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Product Owner to shape outcomes, translate business needs into clear requirements, and drive delivery of customer-focused solutions in a complex banking environment in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Proven Product Owner experience within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of Agile product delivery.
• Experience in complex, enterprise technology environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong commercial and customer focus.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements.
• Comfortable managing competing priorities across multiple teams.
• Ability to work with technical delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product vision, roadmap and priorities
• Translate business and customer needs into clear features, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Manage and prioritise the product backlog
• Work closely with Business Analysts, technology teams and delivery squads
• Engage with a broad range of business and technology stakeholders
• Make informed prioritisation decisions based on customer and business outcomes
• Support planning, delivery and resolution of dependencies and competing priorities
• Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives and customer needs
