Job summary

eTeam in Sydney is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to engage with customer stakeholders, translate requirements into use cases and solution designs for B2C Services provisioning OSS.

You will analyze processes and network topology, perform gap analyses, and support UAT. Requires 5+ years in OSS/telecom, strong UML, XML, SQL, and activation platform experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in OSS/Telecom project delivery.
• Expertise in Telco carrier technologies and service provisioning.
• Experience working with activation platforms.
• Strong background in telecom technologies – GPON, HFC, Ethernet, 5G, Microwave.
• Experience preparing requirements specifications on technical and business levels in Network Resource Inventory and Network Rollout.
• Presentation & meeting management skills.
• Knowledge of XML and SQL.
• Solid knowledge of UML and UML tools such as Enterprise Architect.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customer business stakeholders to identify operational pain-points and advise on process/business rules optimization.
• Work collaboratively in a team of business analysts on system requirements, use-cases and solution design documents for OSS provisioning reviews and signoffs.
• Analyse customers' business processes and network topology.
• Prepare gap analyses citing differences in customer requirements and product functionality.
• Perform product demonstrations to introduce the customer to the product.
• Develop and support a collaborative relationship with the technical team and end users.
• Work with delivery teams to ensure functional and non-functional completeness of the solution.
• Decompose business requirements into use-cases and functional requirements.
• Review and assess customer issues and change requests and screen them by priority.

Experience, Skills and Qualification Required

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementation projects for the OSS in Telecommunications industry as Business Analyst
• Expertise in Telco carrier technologies and service provisioning
• Experience working with activation platforms
• Strong and solid background in one or more of telecom technologies – GPON, HFC, Ethernet, 5G, Microwave
• Practical experience in preparation of requirement specifications on technical and business levels in the domain of Network Resource Inventory and Network Rollout
• Presentation & meeting management skills
• knowledge of XML and SQL
• Solid knowledge of UML and practical experience in using object-oriented Unified Modelling Language (UML) software design tools (ex. Enterprise Architect, etc)
