Job summary

Project Pathway is expanding its HR/payroll integration ecosystem from Sydney to a national network. You’ll own the roadmap for the integration and connector suite, prioritising platforms to connect next and aligning launches with market needs. You’ll engage customers, partners and commercial teams to inform decisions.

The role emphasises sharp product judgment and commercial instinct over deep technical depth, with hybrid work and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in product management for integration, platform or partner facing products, ideally in a regulated setting.
• Hands on experience with HR/payroll integrations such as Workday, SAP, MYOB or Xero is essential.
• Strong market facing track record across customer discovery, go to market and commercial decision making.
• Comfortable discussing APIs and integrations with engineers, without needing to be deeply technical.
• Proven ability to spot growth opportunities and build the case to pursue them.
• A confident communicator who leads through influence rather than authority.

Responsibilities

• Identify and size growth opportunities across HR and payroll marketplaces, partner ecosystems and adjacent channels, with a clear business case for each
• Lead customer and partner discovery, turning insight into roadmap priorities
• Own the roadmap and backlog, sequencing work against strategic partnerships and regulatory deadlines
• Work alongside sales and partnerships on listing agreements, pricing and launch plans for new connectors
• Guide partners through certification and marketplace requirements to get integrations live
• Represent the product externally, from partner meetings to customer forums
