Job summary

CommBank is looking for a Product Manager to own meaningful digital product outcomes across the home buying journey, with broad autonomy to shape the customer experience.

Based in Sydney with a hybrid working arrangement, you will help reimagine the Buy a Home experience in the CommBank app and contribute to AI-enabled Financial Companion experiences for Home Buying, partnering with design, engineering and risk teams to deliver value at pace.

You’ll join the Digital Growth Engine crew in Home Buying, helping customers digitally navigate one of life’s biggest decisions with greater clarity and confidence.

As Product Manager in the Digitally Nurture and Guide squad, you’ll help reimagine the Buy a home experience in the CommBank app and contribute across the Financial Companion Home Buying sub-agent. This is a broad, end-to-end product role with a strong focus on customer experience, delivery and measurable value. The role is based in Sydney and works in a hybrid environment.

You’ll work in a diverse, autonomous squad alongside product, engineering and design colleagues. The team is currently reimagining the Buy a home experience, giving you the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful work and help shape what comes next.

You will:

• Champion the customer voice to identify friction and improve the home buying journey.
• Own product work end to end, from shaping opportunities and requirements through to delivery.
• Help reimagine the Buy a Home experience in the CommBank app, creating intuitive and seamless customer journeys.
• Contribute across the squad’s digital products, including the AI-enabled Financial Companion experiences for Home Buying.
• Partner with design, engineering and stakeholders to manage trade-offs and deliver customer value at pace.
• Shape roadmap priorities while proactively managing risk with Risk and Compliance partners.

You will bring strong product thinking, transferable digital experience and confidence to work autonomously, whether your background is product management, journey optimisation or customer-centred design and delivery.

• Can independently lead a meaningful piece of work, create clarity and maintain momentum across competing priorities.
• Use customer insight and structured problem-solving to identify opportunities and make sound product decisions.
• Work effectively with engineers, designers and business stakeholders to shape requirements and deliver outcomes.
• Bring a strong user experience lens and can balance customer needs, business value, feasibility and risk.
• Communicate clearly, influence constructively and build trusted relationships across a range of stakeholders.
• Approach risk proactively by identifying, understanding, discussing and acting on current and future risks.
